Job Summary:

Gator's Dockside Restaurants is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner/Expo to join our team. As a Food Runner/Expo, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Exceptional Service: Adhere to all Gator's Dockside service standards to ensure a great dining experience for our guests.
  • Communicate Effectively: Work directly with kitchen team members to communicate accurate and standard food cook times.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Follow all plating and presentation standards as outlined by trainers, manuals, and the policies and procedures from the corporate office.
  • Assist with Food Preparation: Assist bussers and servers in bussing tables and refills non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Ensure Food Safety: While running food, ensure proper food handling guidelines are being followed.
  • Maintain a Clean Environment: Maintain a neat and organized work area.
  • Accomplish Side Work: Accomplish all running and end of shift side work, including ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next scheduled employee to take over.

Requirements:

  • Desire to Provide Exceptional Service: Provide guest service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail, and the desire to make sure all food goes out in a quality manner and to the specifications of Gator's Dockside.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a team.
  • Ability to Multitask: Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Standing for Extended Periods: Remain standing for extended periods of time.
  • Bending and Lifting: Bend, squat, and lift up to 30 lbs. for short distances.
  • Frequent Communication: Frequent communication with managers and team members, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
