Job Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of our retail establishment. This position involves supporting the management team in driving sales, enhancing customer service, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in formulating and executing strategies aimed at boosting sales and achieving key performance metrics.
  • Support the recruitment and training of a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Promote a collaborative and productive work environment among team members.
  • Guide and mentor staff to comply with customer service standards and company policies.
  • Organize and oversee in-store events and marketing initiatives to encourage repeat business.
  • Implement visual merchandising standards to optimize product presentation and sales.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, transferring, and returning products.
  • Ensure the store is maintained in a clean and organized manner, both in customer-facing areas and stockrooms.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experienced with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Background in back-office operations, visual merchandising, and staff training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to lead and develop a team effectively.
  • Adept at collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of two years of experience in retail management and client services.
