Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Prepare preliminary drawings based on quote specifications for approval by customers, and conduct quality audits during production to meet specifications and resolve challenges.
  • Documentation and Communication: Prepare documentation for equipment, including parts lists and maintenance manuals, and respond to customer equipment challenges by developing solutions.
  • Research and Innovation: Research and develop new equipment designs and improvements, and prepare sales drawings to assist in closing sales.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and develop creative solutions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school with related experience, and proficiency in computer-assisted engineering systems and design software.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, and communicate effectively with customers and employees.
  • Mathematical Skills: Work with mathematical concepts to solve practical problems.
  • Reasoning Ability: Interpret technical instructions and solve problems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move various weights, and perform tasks requiring physical movement and use of senses.
