Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Rialto Unified School District. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will work with pre-school and/or school-aged students with autism spectrum disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities, providing behavioral interventions and support to help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized behavioral intervention plans to address specific student needs
  • Provide direct behavioral therapy services to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms, student homes, and community sites
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support for students
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and data analysis to inform treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders and/or intellectual disabilities
  • Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred
  • Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Professional Crisis Management (PCM) certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Completion of or in the process of getting a Board-Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) certificate
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a variety of settings, including offices, classrooms, student homes, and community sites. You will be working with students who may have physical or emotional difficulties, and may require driving to conduct work as required by the position.
