Job Summary

Rialto Unified School District is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavioral Analysis and experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders and/or intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to support students with autism spectrum disorders and/or intellectual disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to students.
  • Conduct assessments and develop strategies to address behavioral challenges.
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavioral interventions and strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • 6 years of experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders and/or intellectual disabilities, or 2 years with a Master's degree.
  • Professional Crisis Management (PCM) certificate and valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
  • Insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier may be required.

Working Conditions

The Behavioral Therapist will work in a variety of settings, including offices, classrooms, and community sites. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide support to students with behavioral challenges.
