Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Description: As an Automotive Express Service Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the success of our dealership by providing reliable preventive maintenance services. Your primary responsibility will be to perform Express Service tasks, including basic services, advanced maintenance, and light repairs. You will inspect vehicle fluid levels, replace or replenish as needed, and communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Document and perform work as outlined on repair orders following all dealership and factory standards.
  • Perform Express Service tasks, including basic services, advanced maintenance, and light repairs.

  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
  • Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed.
  • Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Execute minor repairs and reprograms under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Eagerness to improve and learn new skills.
  • Entry-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair preferred.
  • Strong physical dexterity for working with tools.
  • Collaborates well with others in a team setting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
