Fairview Range is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Rehabilitation Services department in Hibbing, MN. As a key member of our team, you will provide safe and effective patient care, including patient evaluation, treatment, reassessment, and discharge planning.
Responsibilities- Evaluate athletes for injury and determine the level of care needed.
- Assist in referring athletes to medical personnel and communicate follow-up care to patients, coaches, and other medical support personnel.
- Determine the playability of injured athletes in practice and competition.
- Maintain treatment records on athletes and obtain necessary supplies.
- Work with schools to track parental consents, emergency information, and other medical records.
- Collaborate with coaching staff on pre-season programs to prevent injuries and prepare athletes for competition.
- Provide patient and family education to maximize treatment outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant healthcare field.
- Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer.
- Current Athletic Trainer license with the MN Board of Medical Practice.
- BLS certification.
