Certified Athletic Trainer

Fairview Range is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Rehabilitation Services department in Hibbing, MN. As a member of our team, you will provide safe and effective patient care, including patient evaluation, treatment, reassessment, and discharge planning.

• Evaluate athletes for injury and determine the level of care needed
• Assist in referring athletes to medical personnel and communicate follow-up care to patients, coaches, and other medical support personnel
• Determine playability of injured athletes in practice and competition
• Maintain treatment records on athletes and obtain necessary supplies
• Work with schools to track parental consents, emergency information, and other medical records pertinent to athletes
• Collaborate with coaching staff on pre-season programs to prevent injuries and prepare athletes for competition
• Provide patient and family education to maximize treatment program

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable healthcare field
• Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer
• Current Athletic Trainer license with the MN Board of Medical Practice
• Preferred qualifications: 1-3 years of experience and membership in the National Athletic Training Association
