Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Batch Mixer to join our team in Chicago Heights, IL. As a Batch Mixer, you will be responsible for formulating chemicals, handling raw materials, and operating machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pouring materials into reactors and monitoring machinery
- Receiving and following batch sheets to formulate chemicals
- Handling raw materials, including liquids and powders from drums, totes, and bags
- Communicating effectively with the next shift and supervisors about batch records
- Performing labor tasks and gradually progressing to fully perform formulating and batch-mixing roles
- Assisting with packaging and staging orders
Requirements:
- 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Blending, formulating, chemical operating, batch mixing experience
Pay and Shift:
2nd and 3rd shifts available in Chicago Heights
2nd shift: $22.00/hour
3rd shift: $23.10/hour
