Job Overview

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 1 year of experience operating pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts.

Position: Forklift Operator / ISC Driver
Company: Amtec Enterprise
Employment Type: Contract position
Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receiving and Storage: Safely unload incoming shipments and transport products to designated storage areas. Efficiently organize and stack merchandise in the appropriate locations.
  • Quality Control: Verify that all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged. Report any discrepancies in quality.
  • Order Fulfillment: Retrieve and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the correct quantities and types of items are loaded and dispatched. Conduct picking tasks efficiently to meet service standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize a Stand-Up Forklift, pallet jack, or other powered equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials. Employ radio frequency devices for picking, receiving, storage, and loading operations as necessary.
  • Maintenance: Keep the equipment and materials organized and clean. Operate all machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to established work methods.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience operating Stand-Up Forklifts and Rider Pallet Jacks.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work in a refrigerated environment.
  • Capability to stand or walk for up to 10-12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
