Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Counselor - LADC/ADC-T to join our team at Meridian Behavioral Health. As a key member of our staff, you will provide support and guidance to individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform the 12 core functions of counseling, including assessment, treatment planning, and case management.
  • Utilize knowledge of the Minnesota Matrix Six Dimension to inform treatment decisions.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
  • Assist clients in navigating county or third-party payer mechanisms and communicating clinical criteria to payers.
  • Obtain authorization for funding and maintain professional licensure.
  • Attend all staff in-services and meetings.
Requirements
  • Current Minnesota State licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or ADC-T license (or ability to obtain).
  • Minimum of two years of freedom from chemical abuse problems.
