Job Overview

SST Direct is seeking a highly skilled Installation Crew Lead to join our team in Forestville, MD.

This is a direct hire opportunity that offers a competitive hourly rate of $28-$32 per hour, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will lead and assist with the installation of trash, recycle, linen chutes, and waste compactors, working closely with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with superintendents and surrounding work subs to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Communicate daily job updates to the APM and PM.
  • Review drawings and plans before going to job sites.
  • Load and deliver materials to job sites.
  • Call superintendents upon arrival to job sites and coordinate hoist or lift use for distribution of materials.
  • Distribute materials to respected floors and ensure proper installation.
  • Prepare frames and take measurements before starting the install.
  • Work with the team to install materials delivered to site in a timely manner.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in general construction.
  • Firm understanding of general construction and contract documents.
  • Team player with strong organizational skills.
  • OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred.
