Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Line Cook to enhance our culinary team. This role is essential in supporting our client’s employee dining facilities, known for their vibrant atmosphere and collaborative spirit. Our Line Cooks enjoy a balanced work schedule, with weekends off and opportunities for professional growth in the culinary arts.
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is $28.32.
Work Schedule
Shifts are from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Deliver outstanding service with a friendly and efficient approach, catering to the needs of guests and clients.
- Culinary Preparation: Adhere to recipe specifications to prepare meals for various dining occasions, including breakfast, lunch, and catered events.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of food quality by regularly tasting and checking prepared items for flavor and freshness.
- Line Maintenance: Ensure the cooking line is organized and that food is served at optimal temperatures, with sufficient quantities available at all times.
- Sanitation and Organization: Keep your workstation clean and organized, following proper food storage and rotation practices.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols as outlined by regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance within the team.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Line Cook.
- High school diploma or GED; culinary degree is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Possession of a valid Food Handlers Certification.
