Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team at Advanced Training Systems, LLC. As an Installation Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient installation and maintenance of our high-fidelity simulation platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation of simulator equipment, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on simulator components to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with simulator equipment, collaborating with other team members as needed to resolve complex problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, usage, and maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to operate the simulation platforms effectively.
  • Collaborate with the training team to develop and implement customized training programs for clients, leveraging your technical expertise to enhance the learning experience.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our simulators' capabilities and limitations, identifying opportunities to improve installation and maintenance processes.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the installation, maintenance, or repair of electronic equipment or machinery is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with computer systems, software applications, and networking technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights (e.g., ladders) is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary for collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and multitask is crucial for meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college or technical training in a related field (e.g., electronics, mechanics) is preferred.
