KLM Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waterworks Estimator to join our team. As a Waterworks Estimator, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and detailed estimates for large, complex treatment plant and heavy civil construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full estimating services on large, complex treatment plant and heavy civil construction projects.
  • Prepare project estimates to ensure all factors are properly considered, priced, and included in the estimate summary.
  • Conduct site visits and investigations to gather information and assess project requirements.
  • Conduct constructability studies to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Research and analyze services, methods, costs, and construction techniques to ensure accurate estimates.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of construction experience with at least 3-5 years of estimating experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include experience with HCSS HeavyBid, Blue Beam, On Screen Take Off, and Agtek.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, experience with Alternative Delivery such as CMAR, CMGC, Design Build & Progressive Design Build.
