Position Overview: We are in search of a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is enthusiastic about health and wellness. The ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism in both appearance and conduct, possess motivation, and demonstrate reliability. This position entails a combination of front and back-office tasks within a vibrant medical clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Office Duties:
- Oversee the front desk operations: Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and facilitate patient flow (check-in/check-out).
- Handle payment processing and ensure accurate patient registration and updates.
- Greet all patients and visitors courteously, whether in-person, via phone, or electronically.
- Ensure smooth patient flow by coordinating with healthcare providers and clinical staff.
- Address inquiries from patients, prospective patients, and visitors professionally.
- Maintain the schedule and assist providers in staying on track.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Back Office Duties:
- Support clinical procedures, including rooming patients and documenting medical histories.
- Perform phlebotomy, injections (BHRT), and other medical assistance tasks as necessary.
- Prepare procedure rooms, maintain autoclave equipment, and manage surgical packet preparation.
- Restock medical supplies and manage inventory orders.
- Ensure timely reporting of results and secure handling of protected health information (PHI).
- Assist with various components of physical examinations, including blood draws and injections.
Qualifications:
- Certification & Experience:
- Current MA/CNA certification with 3-5+ years of relevant front office and clinical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in front desk management, customer service, and back-office clinical duties.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office and medical office management systems.
- Social perceptiveness and a service-oriented mindset.
- A positive attitude with adaptability in changing situations.
- Independent, motivated, and capable of working effectively within a team.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with BHRT pellets/hormone therapy.
- Background in medical weight management.
- Phlebotomy certification.
- IV/Vein puncture experience.
