Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Behavior Technician to join our team at AREA COOPERATIVE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
Interact with students and colleagues in a positive and professional manner
Complete data management systems setup and monitoring
Maintain a clean and organized environment
Participate in student-centered meetings and assist with student updates
Perform duties assigned by supervisors and support the program's behavior management system
Assist with arrival and departure routines, serve on crisis teams, and participate in assigned trainings and staff development opportunities
Provide safety assistance and maintain Connecticut 'V' endorsement

Requirements:
High school graduate with two years of related experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Eligible for 'V' endorsement for CT license (without restriction)
Completes RBT certification from the BACB within 10 months of hire date
Completes all components of ACES Safety Management Training within six months of hire date
