Responsibilities:

* Work on energized equipment in enclosed spaces that are below grade
* Write switching orders and utilize hot line tools to perform circuit switching on medium voltage equipment (4KV to 25KV)
* Assist in the development and implementation of new technology for SCADA system monitoring
* Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies and concerns as they arise
* Handle customer inquiries (voltage complaints, claims, etc.)
* Communicate effectively with high profile customers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical is preferred) or Associate's Degree in Electrical, Industrial, Electronics Technology
* Experience performing in an engineering capacity the skills and abilities listed above
* Knowledge of electrical system operations, distribution systems, and underground construction practices
* Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, troubleshoot equipment, and make sound decisions under pressure
* Ability to work in adverse conditions (heat, cold, wet, etc.) outdoors and to access below grade, tightly enclosed spaces by means of ladders up to 35ft in length
* Proficiency with MS office products and other related engineering software systems
* Ability to prioritize and organize work to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
* Must be able to build relationships and communicate with customers, engineers, sales, corporate partners, and crew personnel
* Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritize customer service both internally and externally
* Follow through on all aspects of assignments to ensure quality completion
* Must be able to follow safe work practices & policies for a Safety Excellence environment
* Be self-motivated and directed
* Demonstrate initiative, dedication, and willingness to learn
* Demonstrate 'Our Values' behaviors defined as Safety First, Intentional Inclusion, Act with Integrity, Superior Performance
