As a key member of our youth program, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
* Nurture children through purposeful programming and build positive relationships with parents
* Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being
* Make ongoing observations and evaluations of each child
* Cultivate positive relationships with parents and engage them in the program
* Use positive reinforcement techniques to address behavioral concerns
* Attend staff meetings, trainings, and complete online trainings

Requirements:

* Meet educational and experience qualifications established by state law
* Be at least 18 years old
* Knowledge of acceptable child care and day camp practices
* Demonstrates initiative to plan, lead, and participate in activities
* Familiarity with mandated reporting and steps that need to be taken
* Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Preventative Health
* Health Screening and TB clearance
* Up-to-date TDAP, MMR, and Influenza vaccinations
* Ability to plan, lead, and participate in a range of activities in various settings
* Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods, walk continuously, and spend a full workday outdoors
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
