Medical Office Supervisor

At Sound Pain Alliance, we are seeking a highly organized and experienced Lead Medical Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of our front desk and manage a team of receptionists.
This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Front Desk Staff: Ensure high-quality patient service by supervising and training front desk staff.
- Manage Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and check-outs to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Handle Patient Inquiries: Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain Accurate Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Coordinate with Medical Staff: Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient flow and office efficiency.
- Monitor and Order Office Supplies: Monitor and order office supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked front desk.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies.
- Cover the Front Desk: Cover the front desk in the event of callouts and vacations to ensure continuous patient service.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise and train front desk staff.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle patient inquiries and resolve issues.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, including eClinicalworks experience.
- Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance.
- Reliability: Reliable transportation with ability to travel between clinics.
- Health Insurance: Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Paid Time Off: Paid time off and holidays.
Compensation: $23.00 to $25.00 an hour depending on experience.
