Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN - OB Acute Nurse to join our team at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients in the acute setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in obstetric care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and a culture of safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year - Nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
