About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Family Medicine team at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in delivering quality healthcare to patients, taking into account individual patients' physical or age-related needs.
  • Provide treatment and care for patients, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of office nursing experience.
  • Clinic office management experience.
