QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Michael Baker International, a prominent entity in the Construction Services sector, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to become a vital part of our Roadway and Bridge Inspection Team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all construction activities align with contractual obligations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and coordinating the sampling and testing of materials used in highway and roadway projects.
  • Conducting daily oversight of the contractor's quality control measures.
  • Executing technical tasks related to field surveying and construction layout.
  • Interpreting and analyzing construction plans, specifications, and standards.
  • Ensuring safety protocols are followed and promoting a safe working environment.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction inspection, particularly in bridge and roadway projects.
  • Certification from Arkansas CTTP is advantageous.
  • Exceptional customer service skills along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and capability to pass a motor vehicle record assessment.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
