Role Summary
Under the supervision of the Physician Supervisor, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) delivers healthcare services to patients experiencing acute or chronic health issues, as well as those seeking preventive care, health evaluations, and educational support. The NP or PA collaborates closely with the Health Center/Clinic Manager to ensure a comprehensive approach to service delivery and high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School or a Physician Assistant Program recognized by the California Physician Assistant Board.
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program sanctioned by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Possession of a National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
- Completion of a Controlled Substances Education Course.
- Proficiency in computer systems, especially Electronic Health/Medical Record platforms and the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (may be required at certain locations).
Licensure Requirements
- Valid California Registered Nurse License.
- Current and unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner License.
- Certification for Furnishing from the Board of Registered Nursing.
- Unrestricted Controlled Substances Registration Certificate from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
- Valid California Driver's License, proof of auto liability insurance, and a clean driving record.
Certifications
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited professional nursing organization, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.

Compensation Transparency
We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position, which is also eligible for our annual incentive program bonus. Your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience, while also considering internal equity among current team members. Please note that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role, and hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical to allow for future salary growth. We also offer comprehensive benefits and retirement plans.
