Staff Pharmacist Role

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you'll play a critical role in supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Safety: Ensuring the well-being of our patients through adherence to regulatory requirements and quality assurance protocols.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Leading by example, demonstrating genuine care for our patients, and promoting a culture of excellence within your team.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Staying up-to-date with changing regulations and ensuring compliance across all aspects of pharmacy operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Identifying areas for improvement and implementing meaningful solutions to drive growth and performance in your pharmacy.
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their needs, and exceeding their expectations.
  • Personnel Management: Motivating, inspiring, and developing your Pharmacy Support Staff to maximize their strengths and address development opportunities.
  • Inventory Management: Ensuring efficient inventory management, minimizing waste, and optimizing stock levels.
  • Financial Profitability: Contributing to the financial success of your pharmacy through effective management of resources and cost control.
  • Loss Prevention: Identifying and mitigating potential risks to minimize losses and protect our assets.
  • Workflow Management: Adapting to change, adjusting plans, and thriving in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA).
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
