Job Summary

As a Senior Commercial Project Manager at AUI Partners, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of commercial projects. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to work through conflict.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal company representative responsible for the daily operations of the project.
  • Work closely with the project manager on planning, organizing, and overseeing project execution.
  • Ensure tight communication on any delays, issues, or concerns regarding schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate job site workforce and subcontractor workforce for timely project completion.
  • Manage the project closeout process, demobilize all resources, and monitor and enforce AUI's Safety Program.
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed and stored properly.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate policies, procedures, and processes that help prevent problems from occurring.
  • Maintain positive, productive relationships with all stakeholders, including AUI employees, subcontractors, vendors, owners, architects, engineers, and regulatory entities.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions.
