Job Summary

SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Wire Harness Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality wire harnesses and electromechanical assemblies for our spacecraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and electromechanical assemblies to meet high reliability standards.
  • Self-monitor work progress and achieve on-time delivery of all work.
  • Read, interpret, and work from drawings and controlled documentation.
  • Record work performed on the shop floor management system and use email for communication.
  • Perform verifications of flight hardware and document results.
  • Assist with the development of production processes and area efficiency improvement projects.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience using basic mechanical and/or electronics hand tools.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment with flight hardware preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Standing for long periods, climbing ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching are generally required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs unassisted.
  • Ability to distinguish colors is required.
