Avionics Wire Harness Specialist

SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Wire Harness Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality wire harnesses and electromechanical assemblies for our spacecraft.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and electromechanical assemblies to meet high reliability standards.
- Self-monitor work progress and achieve on-time delivery of all work.
- Read, interpret, and work from drawings and controlled documentation.
- Record work performed on the shop floor management system and use email for communication.
- Perform verifications of flight hardware and document results.
- Assist with the development of production processes and area efficiency improvement projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of experience using basic mechanical and/or electronics hand tools.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment with flight hardware preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy.
- Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed.
- Standing for long periods, climbing ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching are generally required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs unassisted.
- Ability to distinguish colors is required.
