Job Summary:

Morley-Moss Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their PreConstruction and Estimating department in Sunnyvale, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction and a proven track record of delivering accurate estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future projects
Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates
Prepare estimates used by management for planning, organizing, and scheduling work
Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in electrical construction
High School diploma or GED required
Knowledge of the construction industry and contract documentation
Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines
Working knowledge of NEC

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Accubid and other electrical, technical, or construction programs
Familiarity with project management/document control software
Familiarity with construction/financial software packages
