Position Overview
Avery Dennison is on the lookout for an Operations Asset Supervisor to become a vital part of our Cleveland Films Facility (CFF) Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities

The Operations Asset Supervisor will offer frontline leadership and guidance across all aspects of Safety, Quality, Service, Productivity, Cost Management, and People Development objectives, particularly focusing on the CF4 coating line while fulfilling both internal and external customer requirements.

Working under the general direction of Plant Leadership, this role will ensure the execution of daily operational efficiencies, the implementation of key business objectives, and the leadership of significant people initiatives.

Scope of Responsibilities
This role encompasses strategic coordination of additional assets to support departmental road mapping aimed at achieving key operational metrics.

The Operations Asset Supervisor will report directly to the Value Stream Manager.

Essential Duties
1. Support, coach, and develop a team operating on two 12-hour shifts: days and nights.
2. Standard hours are from 6 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility required to support the night shifts.
3. Maintain a minimum of 35% floor/office interaction with team members.

Management Responsibilities
Perform general management duties, exercising authority regarding staff performance appraisals, promotions, and terminations. Responsible for training and developing staff, estimating resource/labor needs, assigning work, and ensuring timely completion of tasks while interpreting and applying organizational policies consistently.

Maintain accurate records of timekeeping, overtime, and vacation schedules.

Leadership and Safety
Act as a role model and change agent, positively influencing team members to collaborate in achieving both individual and business objectives. Uphold and promote the Corporation's Code of Business Ethics and Values.

Safety is a core value; lead initiatives to foster a safety-conscious environment and actively participate in safety programs. Conduct monthly safety and team meetings, along with daily check-ins with Team Leaders and Team Members.

Operational Excellence
Lead 5S activities, housekeeping, and recycling initiatives. Responsible for key operational metrics including service, quality, productivity, cost, and safety; measure team performance against targets and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Conduct data analysis for two adhesive coating lines, including CF4, to develop and implement long-term strategies and operational efficiencies aimed at achieving site targets. Complete a minimum of two ELS projects annually focused on the respective coating line.

Ensure quality control processes are maintained to meet product/service standards; lead the implementation of process improvements. Drive improvement strategies across all key metrics, managing production flow, staffing schedules, and resources within budget and planning parameters.

Collaborate with other functional areas to address challenges and enhance manufacturing processes. Strive to minimize manufacturing waste and simplify processes.

Note: This position does not qualify for standard remote work arrangements.
