Job Summary

The Clinical Educator/Supervisor RN will assist the unit manager in supervision, education, and management of nursing personnel to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the delivery of patient care services. This role requires proficiency and efficiency in all aspects of PACU care and support for the PAT Clinic Pre Op and PACU areas of Surgical Services.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and educate nursing personnel to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies
  • Assist the unit manager in management of nursing personnel
  • Provide support for the PAT Clinic Pre Op and PACU areas of Surgical Services
  • Ensure proficiency and efficiency in all aspects of PACU care
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a nursing-related area
  • 1 year of experience in Clinical-Surgical Services preferred
  • Education in Teaching and Facilitation of Learning required
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse required
  • National Certification in Nursing required within 1 year of hire
Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 10am-8:30pm, 10-hour shifts, variable regular day off

Weekend and Call Requirements

No weekends, management call
