As we continue to grow, we are in search of a proficient and seasoned Senior Accountant to become part of our team.

Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will be instrumental in the finance division, ensuring the precision and completeness of financial records and reports. This role will report directly to the Controller. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of relevant experience and will be tasked with various accounting responsibilities, including cash and credit card reconciliations, prepaids, fixed assets, intangibles, leases, and intercompany eliminations. This position demands a high degree of accuracy, robust analytical abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of GAAP accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
  1. Cash and Credit Card Reconciliations:
  • Conduct daily and monthly cash reconciliations to guarantee all transactions are accurately recorded
  • Reconcile credit card statements and swiftly address any discrepancies
  • Oversee and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity
  1. General Ledger Management
  • Supervise and uphold the accuracy of the general ledger by ensuring all journal entries are appropriately recorded and supported, and balance sheet accounts are reconciled regularly
  • Monitor and document prepaid expenses, ensuring timely amortization. Review and analyze prepaid accounts for correct classification and accounting treatment
  • Maintain lease accounting schedules, ensuring adherence to GAAP accounting standards
  • Manage and document fixed and intangible assets, ensuring proper depreciation and amortization schedules are adhered to and accurately reflected in the financial statements
  • Execute intercompany reconciliations and eliminations to ensure precise consolidated financial statements
  1. Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards
    • Provide support during external audits and financial reviews
  2. Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices
    • Develop and document accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on GL management and financial reporting a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with Sage Intacct or Service Titan a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
