Position Overview

We're seeking a strategic-minded Director of VP to lead our growth initiatives, shape our long-term strategic direction, and contribute to operational oversight. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, business development, strategic planning, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute growth strategies aligned with our mission and values. Identify market opportunities, assess competitive landscapes, and drive strategic initiatives to capitalize on emerging trends. Experience in expanding brands into new markets out of state is preferred.
  • Business Development: Lead efforts to identify and evaluate potential expansion opportunities, including new locations, partnerships, and business ventures. Conduct market research, financial analysis, and feasibility studies to support decision-making.
  • Operational Oversight: Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day operations across all locations. Ensure operational excellence, consistency, and adherence to brand standards. While not directly involved in day-to-day issues, this role will provide high-level oversight and guidance to operational teams.
  • Facilities Development: Oversee the development and execution of new store build-out projects. Manage facility maintenance and repair processes, including setting up procedures to manage R&M spending. Handle permitting and regulatory requirements with city and government agencies.
  • Supply Chain Management: Optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure product quality and consistency. This includes sourcing new items, negotiating contracts with manufacturers, and managing key inputs.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for development, strategy, and operations. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in restaurant operations, business development, and strategic planning, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must have experience in expanding brands into new markets out of state and demonstrate a clear passion for the restaurant/hospitality industry.
Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk or in meetings with prolonged and repetitive use of a computer. Frequent standing, walking, bending, bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat, use hands, reaching or grasping with hands and arms. Must be able to verbally communicate for extended periods of time.

Working Environment:

Must be able to work with an office, restaurant, and outside environment. Must have a flexible schedule including weekends.
