Senior CNC Machinist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Machinist to join our team at a well-established CNC machining facility in Addison, IL. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex CNC machinery to produce high-precision parts.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist, with a strong background in precision machining, G and M coding, and machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain complex CNC machinery to produce high-precision parts.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate part production.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent, with technical certifications or relevant vocational training in CNC machining preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist, with a strong background in precision machining.
- Strong knowledge of G and M coding, machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.
