About the Role:

Rust Belt Recruiting is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to operate and maintain milling and lathe equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe equipment
  • Maintain precision machining standards through quality control and troubleshooting
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production
  • Operate precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
  • Select and maintain cutting tools, inserts, and tool holders

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in precision machining with G and M coding knowledge
  • Machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting expertise
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
  • Strong understanding of cutting tools, inserts, and tool holders
