Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other mandatory disclosures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial reporting.
  • Statement Preparation: Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during the audit process.
  • Accounting Policy Development: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support management in various ad-hoc financial analysis requests.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Certification: CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SEC reporting or in a public accounting environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEC regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Skills: Experience with financial statement preparation and financial analysis, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Desired Skills
  • Financial Reporting Standards: Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and GAAP.
  • XBRL Reporting: Experience with XBRL reporting is a plus.
  • Priority Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
