We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Ascension. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient examinations and treatments under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform various clinical duties, including taking vital signs and recording patient information.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and maintaining patient records.
- Order and stock medical supplies as needed.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of relevant experience or education may be substituted.
- Medical Assistant graduate.
- Spanish or Polish language skills helpful but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- EPIC system experience a plus.
