Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Frozen Clerk to join our team at Hy-Vee, Inc. As a Frozen Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, rotating and replenishing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Rotate and replenish merchandise to ensure that products are facing forward and easily accessible to customers.
  • Ensure that the department is clean and safe by sweeping and mopping the floor, cleaning off cases, and restocking shelves.
  • Work with co-workers to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

This position is continually exposed to noise, temperature extremes, and dampness. There is frequent exposure to equipment movement hazards. This is a fast-paced work environment with significant pressure.
