About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational services team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Individualized Speech Therapy Services: Work one-on-one with students to develop and implement personalized speech therapy plans, addressing diverse communication needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring a comprehensive and supportive educational environment.
  • Conduct Assessments and Track Progress: Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs, create tailored treatment plans, and track progress to ensure effective communication and academic success.
  • Participate in Team Meetings and Contribute to a Collaborative Environment: Engage in regular team meetings to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas, fostering a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Virginia SLP License or Eligibility: Hold a valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Experience in a School Setting (Asset): While not required, experience working in a school setting is highly valued and can be an asset in this role.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and parents.
