The Offset Printing Press Technician plays a crucial role in our operations, tasked with producing high-quality printed labels while consistently overseeing label standards and press performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate our KBA (Koenig & Bauer) printing press.
- Prepare the press by adjusting components such as feeders, delivery systems, and guides using hand tools.
- Replace worn rollers and adjust pressure between rollers as needed.
- Clean ink rollers and fountains using appropriate solvents and cleaning methods.
- Make necessary adjustments to color and registration before production to meet quality standards.
- Possess a thorough understanding of offset printing processes and materials.
- Read and interpret job specifications to ensure proper setup for successful job execution.
- Follow safety instructions to operate equipment and produce high-quality products.
- Adjust feeder and feed board settings as required.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
- Guide and mentor junior press assistants.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficient in making and interpreting measurements.
- Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to understand and follow written instructions.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs occasionally and 35 lbs frequently.
- Strong focus and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules based on operational needs.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in setting up and operating sheet-fed presses.
- Prior experience with sheet-fed press machinery is essential.
