Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Client Services Team in Clayton. As a Project Manager - Print Production, you will be responsible for managing the proofing process, generating job tickets, and ensuring that client orders are fulfilled on time and to the client's satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process routine and complex client orders
- Respond to inquiries and/or customer issues related to orders
- Maintain positive ongoing relationships with customers and sales staff
- Utilize knowledge of products, logistics, production planning, and inventory management to ensure that client orders are fulfilled on time and to the client's satisfaction
- Manage the proofing process, including requesting revisions to graphics and client approvals
- Generate job tickets in the ERP system
- Assure that client product specifications are followed and updated as applicable
- Submit requests for quotes
- Coordinate and facilitate client meetings, if needed
- Own the project from the front-end through shipping
- Track on-time deliverables or client press checks, as needed
- Occasionally travel for on-site meetings, etc.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure that client orders are fulfilled on time and to the client's satisfaction
- Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their orders
- Identify and resolve any issues or concerns that clients may have
- Ensure that all project-specific requirements are met, such as tracking of on-time deliverables or client press checks
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance the client experience and increase efficiency
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client orders and communications
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders is crucial for success in this role
- Customer-oriented mindset: The ideal candidate should be able to put the customer's needs first and work towards achieving their goals
- Problem-solving skills: The ability to identify the root cause of a problem and develop quick solutions is essential for this role

- Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft programs and ERP systems is important for this role
- Previous print experience: Experience in print production and project management is preferred
- Attention to detail: The candidate should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Time management skills: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively is important for meeting project deadlines
- Positive attitude: A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations is essential for success in this role

- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Minimum 5+ years in the Printing industry
