Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation team.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of patient care and support. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work under the direction of rehabilitation therapists and nurses to help individuals with brain injuries or spinal cord injuries regain their independence and return home.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and cooking.
  • Drive patients to medical appointments and community activities.
  • Assist rehabilitation therapists with patient activities.
  • Perform nurse-delegated tasks after completing training, including taking vital signs, administering medication, and providing peg tube feedings.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current State Driver's License in good standing required.
  • Certified BLS completion required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Neuro Transitional Rehab experience preferred.
  • Therapy or Rehab Aide experience preferred.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide preferred.
