Accounting Coordinator I

Job Overview:
The Accounting Coordinator I role at Ryder System involves performing a combination of routine, calculating, posting and verifying duties to maintain financial records. This position requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices, create PO requisitions, and ensure timely payment
- Perform journal entry preparation and posting for the month-end close process
- Invoice preparation, customer submission, and cash collection
- Operate accounting software to record, store and analyze information
- Check figures, postings and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper codes
Requirements:
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Workday experience preferred
- Associate's degree in Accounting required; minimum 2 years college credit in Accounting
- Two (2) years or more related experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping required
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $44,800, based on a hourly wage of $22.00. Additional benefits may include an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan.
