We are currently seeking an Environmental Field Specialist to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct groundwater, soil, and vapor sampling
- Perform stormwater and industrial discharge water sampling
- Support the operation and maintenance (O&M) of remediation systems
- Engage with clients and subcontractors
- Coordinate routine maintenance for field vehicles and equipment
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the environmental sector
- Familiarity with field sampling and monitoring tools (e.g., PID, FID, submersible pumps) is preferred
- Strong mechanical skills
- Proficient in the MS Office suite
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Flexible work schedule options available
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Geology, or a related field is preferred
- HazWoper 40 certification is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various environmental conditions, which may involve light physical exertion, wearing respiratory protection, and exposure to hazardous materials
Additional Requirements:
- Background checks and potential drug screenings are mandatory for this role
- Overtime and flexible hours may be required based on project needs
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance
