Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver Support Specialist, you will provide assistance and strategies to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport individuals to community settings and provide support during outings, field trips, medical appointments, and shopping.
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration.
  • Provide guidance on developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
  • Assist individuals to redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Successful clearance of background checks.
  • Reliable and responsible attitude.
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to quality in everything you do.
