About Just Helicopters: Just Helicopters is a premier provider of air medical emergency transport services. With decades of operational excellence, we have established a robust network serving numerous states across the nation. Our dedicated team comprises industry-leading pilots, medical professionals, mechanics, and support staff, all committed to delivering exceptional care in critical situations.
Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) Program:
- 2500 total flight hours with a minimum of 2000 hours in category
- 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in category
- 500 hours of cross-country flight time
- 100 hours of night flight time
- 100 hours of flight in actual instrument conditions in category
Key Skills:
Applicants must have recent experience flying in category for a commercial operator or in military service. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public. We strive to foster a friendly and professional work environment.
As a pilot, you will ensure that aircraft and weather conditions are suitable for transporting medical personnel and patients to healthcare facilities within an assigned operational area. Compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and General Operations Manual guidelines is mandatory, along with a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures.
Operational and Safety Requirements:
All flight crew members must maintain a weight not exceeding 250 pounds and be under seventy (70) years of age.

Job Requirements:
- Instrument rating (for category and class of aircraft); ATP rating in category meets this requirement
- Commercial single-engine land is required for single-engine aircraft
- First or Second-Class FAA Medical certificate required
