Job Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep of both interior and exterior areas of the property. This position encompasses a variety of maintenance tasks, including but not limited to cleaning, painting, performing carpentry, and executing building repair responsibilities. The technician will also maintain parking lots, restrooms, and communal spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and execute work orders and maintenance procedures effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Sanitize and restock restroom facilities.
  • Ensure cleanliness of mirrors and windows.
  • Oversee the exterior maintenance, including landscaping and cleaning entryways.
  • Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Report significant damages and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Secure the premises after hours by locking doors and setting alarms.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and guidelines.
  • Efficient time management skills to meet maintenance goals.
  • Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor.
  • Previous experience in custodial or maintenance roles.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Basic knowledge of landscaping and repair techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform light work, including walking or standing for extended periods.
  • Regularly exert up to 20 to 50 pounds of force.
Employment Type:
