Job Title: Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Director

Vanguard Resources Inc is seeking an experienced Facilities Director to lead and support the Maintenance department at our client's facility, Valley Baptist Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have solid regulatory and compliance experience, as well as a strong background in hospital maintenance and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Maintenance Department to maintain the building infrastructure and associated equipment related to building operations and patient care.
  • Maintain code compliance as it relates to all authorities having jurisdiction in the healthcare industry.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets.
  • Work closely with Vanguard Resources leadership and client leadership.
  • Responsible for efficient and effective hiring, training, scheduling, and employee relations of the entire department.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of supervisory experience in hospital maintenance, with experience leading a team.
  • 5-7 years of general maintenance experience within a hospital environment.
  • 7-10 years of performing facility maintenance work.
  • Joint Commission regulatory compliance experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications such as HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing are preferred.
  • CHFM certification is also preferred but not required.
