Overseas Adventure Travel is in search of a highly skilled and driven Infrastructure Project Manager to enhance our IT Infrastructure team.
This role focuses on managing the planning, execution, and oversight of various IT initiatives, particularly those related to infrastructure and security improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background in IT systems and networks, along with proven project management capabilities to ensure successful project delivery within defined scope, budget, and timelines.
As an Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the management and execution of infrastructure and security projects, coordinating team efforts, and adapting to diverse business needs. Your project management expertise will position you as a key resource for guiding, mentoring, and supporting teams in effective collaboration, project governance, methodologies, and alignment with organizational goals.
Your ability to establish clear objectives and define key performance indicators will be essential in measuring the success of projects. Excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively present information through metrics, showcases, and tailored presentations to various audiences. You will also lead project-related ceremonies and present your team's key initiatives and performance metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulate detailed project plans encompassing objectives, timelines, resource distribution, and risk management approaches. Oversee project activities, resources, equipment, and information to ensure seamless execution. Track project progress, monitor deliverables, and manage alterations in project scope, schedule, and budget. Spearhead initiatives to design, implement, and enhance IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and cloud solutions. Establish and uphold security protocols to safeguard systems, networks, and data against cyber threats and unauthorized access. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability evaluations, and penetration testing. Relay project objectives, status updates, and results to stakeholders across all organizational levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT support, development, operations, and management, to ensure project alignment and support. Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports. Prepare and deliver regular progress updates to management and key stakeholders. Identify efficiencies and enhance execution across the Technology organization, striving for productivity through process improvements.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in operations management, project management, and team leadership within a technology environment. Strong people management, communication, and time management skills. Familiarity with SLA reporting, networking, infrastructure as code, and security projects. Knowledge of ISO-27001/2, PCI compliance, and ITIL standards. Proven experience in managing technology projects. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently. Proficiency in organizational and project management tools and methodologies. Prior experience in managing infrastructure, network, and security projects is advantageous.
