About the Role

The Medical Office Coordinator will assist medical providers and maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with the policies and procedures of the practice. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include checking patients' physical and mental status, preparing equipment for medical treatments, and administering prescribed medications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and be proficient in electronic medical records (EMRs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the assessment of patient needs and health plan by taking vital signs, history, medication listing, assessing visual acuity, and determining chief complaint.
  • Completes all necessary documentation in the patient's medical record in accordance with practice charting policy.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients and visitors.
