We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Safety Professional to join our team in New York City. As a key member of our safety management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive safety plans for construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of safety within our organization.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned safety professional to leverage their expertise and contribute to the growth and success of our company. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction safety principles, regulations, and best practices, as well as exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety plans for construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and recommending measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement training programs, ensuring that all personnel are aware of safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety management, preferably with a strong background in regulatory compliance and risk assessment.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety programs, resulting in significant reductions in incident rates.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and other relevant safety guidelines.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
